The topic of death penalty invokes much debate in the United States.  Public opinion varies on the topic with some opposing and others supporting death penalty.  As with public opinion, organizations also take different views on the topic.  Therefore while some organizations support the concept of death penalty in deserving cases, other organizations find the very idea abhorrent and feel that death penalty is to be abolished.
